The
Declaration of Refuge(Cont.)
I
once was gripped in fear, but I now find peace in
the midst of the storms. For I declare that I have
died to self, and now, am made alive in Christ through
Jesus!
The
Old is gone! Behold the new has come! I may be
beaten, but I will not be defeated. I may fall,
but I will rise. I may be ridiculed, mocked, even
offended, but I will forgive! I will not give
place to insecurity, doubt, or fear. For it is
no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives
within me! Am I perfect? By no means! Am I forgiven?
By all means from the blood of salvation that
was spilled for me on my cross. Therefore, I today
deny self, pick up my cross and follow Christ.
